1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Invox AI ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service, including trade business owners, their employees, and customers who interact with our AI voice agents.

2. Description of Service

Invox AI provides AI-powered voice agents for tradespeople and trade businesses. Our Service includes:

  • AI voice agents that answer phone calls on your behalf
  • Appointment booking and calendar integration
  • Lead capture and customer relationship management (CRM)
  • Call recording and transcription services
  • Dashboard for managing calls, customers, and appointments
  • Integration with third-party services (Google Calendar, etc.)

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To use the Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for safeguarding the password and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

3.3 Account Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to enter into this agreement. By using the Service, you represent that you are a legitimate trade business or authorized representative.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe upon the rights of others
  • Transmit any unlawful, harmful, or objectionable content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Use the Service for spam, phishing, or fraudulent purposes
  • Misrepresent your identity or business
  • Record calls without proper consent from all parties

5. Payment Terms

5.1 Subscription Fees

Access to the Service requires a paid subscription. Fees are charged monthly or annually as selected during sign-up. All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes.

5.2 Payment Processing

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees due.

5.3 Refunds

Refunds may be provided at our discretion within 14 days of initial subscription. After this period, fees are non-refundable. Contact support@invoxai.com for refund requests.

6. Call Recording and Consent

Important

You are responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable call recording laws in your jurisdiction. In the UK, you must inform callers that calls may be recorded.

Our AI agent includes a standard disclosure at the beginning of each call. However, you remain responsible for:

  • Ensuring your use of call recording complies with local laws
  • Obtaining any additional consents required by your profession
  • Properly storing and handling recorded data
  • Responding to data subject access requests

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Our Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by Invox AI and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

7.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of any content you provide to the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a license to use, process, and store your content solely to provide the Service.

8. Data Protection

Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to such processing and warrant that all data provided by you is accurate.

As a data processor under UK GDPR, we will process personal data only on your documented instructions and implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure security.

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We may suspend or restrict access for:

  • Scheduled maintenance (with advance notice where possible)
  • Emergency repairs or security updates
  • Events beyond our reasonable control
  • Violation of these Terms

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Invox AI shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
  • Damages arising from your use or inability to use the Service
  • Any third-party claims arising from your use of the Service

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Invox AI, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.

12. Termination

12.1 By You

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support@invoxai.com or through your dashboard settings.

12.2 By Us

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

12.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. We will retain your data for 30 days, after which it will be permanently deleted unless longer retention is required by law.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.

For material changes, we will notify you via email at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
